Global IP Awards 2023 winners revealed
The winners of the fourth Global IP Awards, which recognise law and attorney firm excellence in the fields of trademark and patent litigation, prosecution and transactional work, were announced at a gala dinner in London last night.
Launched in 2019, the Global IP Awards highlight the outstanding depth of IP legal expertise available to corporate teams as they seek to protect and monetise their intellectual property the world over. This year, 169 awards winners across 80 jurisdictions were identified as the stand-out performers in their regions through 2022-2023.
The winners were announced following in-depth research by the WTR and IAM editorial and research teams.
With full-time journalists and dedicated researchers based in London, Hong Kong and New York, WTR and IAM are uniquely placed to provide in-depth reporting and analysis of developments in all the world’s major IP markets. Between them, the teams produce both the WTR 1000 and the IAM Patent 1000 each year, as well as the news, analysis, special reports and data intelligence that you can access on the WTR and IAM platforms.
Based on their collective knowledge and insight, and drawing on a number of strategic data points, the firms that deserve recognition for their achievements across the past 12 months have been identified. Last night, those firms were celebrated at Plaisterers' Hall in London, with guests from almost 40 countries in attendance.
Proceeds from the dinner go towards supporting the Swawou School for Girls in Sierra Leone. The school was set up in 2008 to offer free, quality education to girls from the Swawou community of Kenema town, eastern Sierra Leone. WTR and IAM’s parent company, Law Business Research, is the major financial supporter of the school.
WTR would like to congratulate all the winners, who are listed below.
