Iván Sempere Massa

After working at the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, Iván Sempere Massa now leads PADIMA’s legal area, coordinating IP enforcement actions for companies worldwide. Mr Sempere Massa is a commercial law professor at the University of Alicante, where he obtained his doctorate in IP law and has been recently named honorific law professor. He is regularly invited as a speaker to different universities worldwide and is the author of numerous works in the field of intellectual property, including contributions on well-known designs and three-dimensional shapes.

In 2016 Mr Sempere Massa headed up the Spanish Group of the Design Committee for the 2016 International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property World Congress in Milan. He is vice-chair of the INTA Design Committee (2019 to 2020) .
