Nick Lissner
Partner, attorney at law, Patrade (Patrade Legal Advokatanpartsselskab)
Nick advises on the establishment and enforcement of patents, trademarks, design rights, copyright and marketing law. He has an exceptional ability to take a comprehensive view of a given matter, and one of his major strengths is the management and optimisation of rights portfolios.
He has conducted several lawsuits on behalf of our clients and is known for being extremely well-prepared in court and having a very high success rate. Nick is authorised to represent clients before the High Court of Denmark.
He is one of our experts in online enforcement of trademarks and design rights, including domain surveillance and elimination of online infringements, for example in connection with scam webshops and online sales of imitation goods. Last, but not least, Nick – who used to work as an it programmer – contributes to continuous development and optimisation of our IP Highlighter client portal.
Nick also teaches intellectual property law (both Danish and International) and market law to law students at Aalborg University, where he also teaches IT law to computer science students.
In addition to holding an LLM, Nick has completed a professional master’s programme in European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University.
