Louise Newstead

Reporter, World Trademark Review

Louise joined WTR as a reporter in September 2022. Since then, she has covered a wide range of subject matter, with a particular interest in the interaction between IP and emerging technologies, and between trademark and free speech laws. Before joining WTR, Louise worked in external relations for an international organisation specialising in anti-corruption. She has a BA in law with humanities, an MA in international multimedia journalism and an MSc in human rights and diplomacy.
