Sonu has been associated with De Penning & De Penning since 2018 and has assisted clients in different areas of IP law, including due diligence, application preparation and prosecution, oppositions and invalidations, infringement, passing off, counterfeiting, licensing and franchising as well as appellate proceedings. She completed her degree and post-graduate degree (specialising in property law) at the Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University. She was a university rank holder when she graduated and was the recipient of a gold medal for academic excellence. She has over nine years of experience in civil litigation and arbitration matters in the field of intellectual property law, commercial contracts and transactions.
